Design Manager, Web Presence

Stripe is hiring a Design Manager to lead the Web Presence & Platform team's Presence pillar, managing designers focused on stripe.com, link.com, Bridge, and Sessions. WHAT YOU'LL DO • Manage and develop a high-performing design team through coaching and career mentoring • Create design vision aligned with Stripe's strategic goals • Craft novel moments of storytelling and delight while maintaining quality standards • Guide adoption of AI tools and evolving workflows • Partner with marketing, comms, and growth teams on information architecture and storytelling • Scale design systems and propose animations for web experiences WHO YOU ARE • 6+ years of design management experience • 9+ years in strategy, information architecture, and web design • Portfolio showing design systems, microsites, or web experiments • Expert understanding of typography, layout, balance, and proportion • Advanced HTML/CSS knowledge preferred • Global scaling and localization experience a plus
