Staff Product Designer, Retirement

Gusto is hiring a Staff Product Designer to shape retirement financial products for small businesses. You'll partner with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to design setup, account management, and connected payroll-to-retirement experiences. WHAT YOU'LL DO • Improve retirement setup and account management experiences end-to-end • Create connected journeys between payroll and retirement products • Design scalable patterns across the product ecosystem • Translate compliance requirements into clear, human UX • Use AI-accelerated prototyping to move rapidly from concept to tested designs • Advocate for design systems and mentor peers WHO YOU ARE • 8+ years of product design experience with shipped, end-to-end work • High craft standards for complex, multi-step workflows • Demonstrable AI fluency in your design practice • Comfort operating in ambiguity and leading multi-workstream initiatives • Experience in regulated domains (fintech, HR, compliance) a plus
