Senior Designer, Design Systems

Farther is a fast-growing RIA combining expert financial advisors with cutting-edge technology to deliver personalized wealth management. This Senior Designer will build Farther's design system infrastructure from scratch, establishing the component foundation and governance model for a rapidly scaling product. WHAT YOU'LL DO • Audit existing design assets and construct a scalable component library in Figma • Establish reusable components, design tokens, and comprehensive documentation • Manage the design system roadmap and define governance processes • Drive team adoption and champion design system best practices • Collaborate with engineering to ensure design-to-code consistency WHO YOU ARE • 5+ years of product design experience with 3+ years specifically leading design systems • Expert-level Figma proficiency with deep understanding of implementation across platforms • Both strategic vision and hands-on execution capability • Strong organizational and communication skills for driving adoption across teams • Fintech or complex B2B SaaS experience is a plus
