Rachel Gogel (she/her) is an independent creative executive and educator whose career grew alongside the rise of modern digital design at Facebook (Meta), The New York Times, GQ, and Godfrey Dadich. Since founding her own business in 2020, she has collaborated with global organizations (Airbnb, Dropbox, Amex), women-led ventures (Chicken & Egg Films, Anew, Pulse Fund), and inspiring studios (Pentagram, Conscious Minds, Giant Spoon). Operating as a fractional leader, Rachel unlocks human creativity by embedding deeply with teams navigating the inflection points where brand, culture, and technology converge. Named one of Creative Boom’s “20 graphic designers inspiring us the most in 2025,” her work ranges from reimagining editorial platforms and in-product visual systems to crafting campaigns and book covers. A queer advocate championing marginalized voices, Rachel addresses industry inequities through mentoring, speaking, writing, and active involvement in purpose-driven programs. Equally committed to teaching, she is currently developing courses for Penninghen and Parsons Paris (2026–27) and has built curricula for institutions such as California College of the Arts, School of Visual Arts, and The School of The New York Times. Rachel’s insights have been featured in PRINT, Creative Review, Design Observer, and Designfully. Rooted now in her childhood city of Paris after nearly two decades in New York and San Francisco, she is forging design community across borders.
