Hello, I've been listening to the Design Better podcast since 2019 after I did a career transition into product design from software sales at IBM. I started my design career doing freelance work for seed-stage startups bringing my strong soft skills and problem solving I had obtained from my time at IBM. I was most recently a Senior UX Designer at Ingenio, a $60M+ ecommerce platform where I spearheaded several revenue-generating design initiatives across retention, acquisition, and activation while enhancing our qualitative research and design methods to drive better product decisions. I previously worked on a design team at Torch, a B2B enterprise software platform offering integrated coaching, mentoring, and learning path programs at scale to a variety of customers across different industries. Before that, I started my design career as the sole product designer at SaverLife, a nonprofit that helped low-income Americans build their financial security by making saving more rewarding. In my personal time, I love being a husband and father, listening to podcasts, reading up on the latest design thought-leadership, playing games and watching the latest and greatest TV/movies.
